Walking is such a natural thing to do. In the “old days” people walked places like the store, the mailbox, the chicken coop. Now of course many of us live in areas where it would take too long to walk and do anything else so we drive.

As a form of exercise it's also a natural. it's free, can be done almost anywhere, allows you to move at a pace that's right for you and honestly does improve your health markers not to mention your mood. Moving is a way to change the state we are in–our energetic state–and just moving shifts us. Moving hard and fast is a good release of tension and anger or frustration. Moving slowly can be contemplative and more like taking in that releasing.

What ever speed you choose I encourage everyone–me included–to get out and breath in some air, take in your surroundings, move and be moved by what comes up for you.

It can't hurt and it just might give you more benefits than you could imagine.

PS, if it does hurt because of sore joints, grab some Elations daily!
